More description and Photos

Marcio Montarroyos - Magic Moment (1982), for Columbia, a great fusion Jazz-Rock with a Brazilian taste, arranged by Marcio Montarroyos and featuring the Brazilian instrumental music legends, as Victor Biglione, Robson Jorge, Jamil Joanes, Ivan Conti (Mamão), Ricardo Silveira, Lincoln Olivetti and others. "Magic Moment" is available ONLY on vinyl LP. Unfortunately it was never had a CD reissue.

The curious fact of this album is that Márcio recorded it on Rio de Janeiro's Som Livre Studios using the studio free time. When the tape is finished, he offered to many major Brazilian recording labels and no one was be interested on released it. Then he went to USA aiming to get any USA label. Columbia bought the rights to release and the Brazilian CBS (that Márcio had been presented before and reject a possibility of contract it), as a Brazilian subsidiary of Columbia, had to release this album in Brazil.
