More description and Photos

BETO GUEDES - "A PÁGINA DO RELÂMPAGO ELÉTRICO" - An awesome album that mixes folk ballads, instrumental Regional Choro, Progressive tunes, Beatles vibes with a freak and psychedelic mood.

Beto's music gives absolute freedom to the rhythm meter bar rules. He usually changes the tempo and the meter. Listen to the "Lumiar" tune and realize the meter changes in the same song: Intro: 6/4; Part A: 3/4 and Part B: 6/4. It's really interesting! Lumiar has a powerful Harmonic and rhythm guitar riff.

Also in the track "A Página do Relâmpago Elétrico", Beto mixes 3/4, 6/4 and 4/4 meters. It gives to the song a freak and progressive mood. The strong phase shifter effect passed through the acoustic guitar give a psychedelic feel at this track.

Listen and realize the Brazilian Progressive style in "Chapéu de Sol"!

Essential on Minas Scene Style!!!

The track "Maria Solidária", an unreleased song by Milton Nascimento and Fernando Brant, is full of fuzzy guitars, Hammond organs and "Beatles" oriented.

The album's orchestration works also in a free way and uses fuzzy electric guitar, intense and chaotic phased guitars, Hammond Organ, Mini Moog, Mandolin, Clarinet, Viola and lots of percussion.
